The Catholic Patriarch received the President of the Human Fraternity Foundation

The Patriarchal Residence in Cairo August 26, 2022

His Beatitude Msgr Ibrahim Isaak, Patriarch of Alexandria and the rest of the Coptic Catholic Church of St. Mark, and the President of the Council of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Egypt, received Monsignor Dr. Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, President of the Human Fraternity Foundation and former Personal Secretary of His Holiness Pope Francis.

Monsignor Yoannis Gaid presented to His Beatitude the Patriarch the latest developments in the charitable projects that the Foundation is following up in Egypt to serve all Egyptians, especially the Oasis of Mercy project for orphans, which His Beatitude the Patriarch visited in the New Administrative Capital and blessed the project (see photo) as well as the Bambino Gesù Hospital project, which was His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, has allocated the land on which the project will be built in the Medical City in the New Administrative Capital.

His Beatitude the Patriarch invited Monsignor Yoannis Gaid to participate in the Patriarchal Synod scheduled for September 20-22, confirming his support for all charitable works that the Foundation provides, which aim to support and help the poor, the needy, the sick, people of determination and spread the culture of human brotherhood and coexistence among all the people of the country.

It is worth noting that the Human Fraternity Foundation is based on the Human Fraternity Document signed by His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb in Abu Dhabi on February 4, 2019.

The charitable, non-profit organization works to support the needy, help the poor and the sick, and spread the culture of brotherhood and coexistence.
