With the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect Him, the UAE contributed to the design of the "Bambino Gesù" children's care hospital in Egypt, and laid the foundation stone, to provide its services to children in various countries of the region. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, through His Highness’s account on Twitter: “With the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the UAE, through the Ministry of Possibilities, contributed to the design of the Children’s Care Hospital (Bambino Gesù) in Egypt, and laid the foundation stone, to provide its services to children. In various countries of the region, in cooperation with the two national companies the DIHAD Humanitarian Foundation and Index, with the Malaysian CHSS.

The Bambino Gesù Hospital project is one of the projects implemented by the Human Fraternity Foundation in Egypt, with the Oasis of Pietà orphanage and the Humanitarian Brotherhood School for People of Determination project.

Bambino Gesù Hospital aims to provide medical and health care for children suffering from chronic and rare diseases. The hospital is also interested in receiving pregnant women and accompanying them before and during pregnancy until delivery and after they leave the hospital.

The Bambino Gesù Hospital in Cairo will be a distinguished edifice with the services provided, at a high level of quality, according to precisely defined criteria: attention to providing advanced health care for the sick child; attention to the human care in treating all cases; respect for individual, cultural, religious and social privacy; and continuous development of services; the provision of health services. Ensuring that all newborns, children and mothers have the right to health, the right to obtain the necessary medical services, and the right to free treatment for those in need.

The Bambino Gesù Hospital in Cairo is distinguished by its close and continuous relationship with the internationally renowned Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome.

This project will be built in the Medical City in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt, on an area of 10,000 square meters. Only 40% will be used for buildings, while 60% will be used for landscaping and other services. The hospital building has an area of 4,000 square meters, and the building will have seven floors: an underground floor, a basement, a ground floor, and 4 floors, bringing the total building area to 28 thousand square meters.
